Socks (Part 2)

I've been trying to pull off more looks lately that involve socks! Particularly over-the-knee. I love them with boots, heels, and flats...and this is not my first post about Socks. Read here for Part 1.

More Whitney Port :)

If you've read any of my posts, you'll most likely know about my obsession with Whitney Port.

She's super gorgeous, but I love her for her exceptional style. She always experiments/takes risks with new looks and tries new things which I think is extremely important as a budding fashion designer. Her line, WhitneyEve is also super cute and I would LOVE to own something form it one day. For now, I just love to creep her blog almost daily. Her show, The City, was cancelled :( and I am the most bummed. Like I said, she wins for best hair, best style, best makeup everytime!

Here's some pics I scooped up recently of her.
Enjoy!

Ps: her boyfriend is also super adorable and I enjoy watching him on The Buried Life.

My Halloween Costume Pt. 2!

Here I am. I hope I made everyone proud! (My partner in crime is Justin Bieber, aka J-Biebs, aka my friend, Julie Schanzenbacher.)

Brooch Bouquets

My sister Julia told me about this site today and I thought it was totally blog-worthy.

Brooch Bouquets are a little trend that's been gathering lots of hype. Amanda Heer is the designer of Fantasy Floral Designs and the signature "Brooch Bouquets". Check out her blog here.

i think that this would be such a fun job! Hunting through thrift stores and finding as many brooches as you can...even totally hideous ones can be used to create a beautiful bouquet as long as they fit in with the colour scheme of the bouquet. I'd say brooches are a fairly overlooked accessory these days, so I bet thrift stores are overflowing with them!
