I Met Whitney Port!!! (Part 2)

What a cool experience. Wow!
I was emotionally drained afterwards...

Jessy accompanied me to Whitney Port's first book signing for her new book, True Whit. We waited for about 2 hours in line to get her signature, and it was worth every second. I was pretty nervous and had no idea what to say. I nervously spewed out "I'm Kaitlin." I'm not sure she even heard that part. Then she said, "Your hair looks so cute like that!" I could have died. I managed to thank her for the compliment and desperately wanted to say "I love you" but me and the girl in line behind me agreed that that would be weird. So I just said, "Thanks for being so inspiring!" and she replied with "Awww..." Then it was over. I felt like I was in a dreamland or on some kind of I-just-met-a-celebrity-that-I'm-obsessed-with high. Wow is all I can say.

She was incredibly nice and genuine, but the biggest stand-out was her flawless skin. Dewy, porcelain-like and perfect. Super gorgeous :)

I Met Whitney Port!!!

Sooooooo... one of my dreams came true and I had the opportunity to meet my ultimate style icon, Whitney Port!!!

She was wearing a gorgeous acidwash WhitneyEve blazer (I read it on her FB page) a pale pink dress, with blue tights and amazing beige booties.

Fingers Crossed!

I just entered a contest on Whitney Port's blog to win a meet & greet with her at her Toronto book signing. She's starting her book tour on Monday at the Eaton Centre Indigo...meeting her would be amazing!

If you've read any of my posts, you'll most likely know about my obsession with Whitney Port.

She's super gorgeous, but I love her for her exceptional style. She always experiments/takes risks with new looks and tries new things which I think is extremely important as a budding fashion designer. Her line, WhitneyEve is also super cute and I would LOVE to own something form it one day. For now, I just love to creep her blog almost daily. Her show, The City, was cancelled :( and I am the most bummed. Like I said, she wins for best hair, best style, best makeup everytime!

If you didn't know, Whitney Port is my absolute fav. In my books, she always wins for Best Style, Best Hair, Best Shoes, Best Accessories, Best Makeup, you get the idea.

I follow her on twitter so I get all her blog updates, which are always super informative and fun. She recently posted some pictures of her at Wango Tango. Even though I had never heard of this one-day music fest before, I think you'll agree that she looked amazing!!! Hair and makeup. On her blog she said that the "rocker" look, as far as makeup goes, was kind of new for her, but I absolutely love it.

The long messy braid is so stunning, and it's definitely inspiration to keep growing mine!
