New Bedroom!
A bedroom makeover is in the works! I am super excited.
I got an amazing deal last weekend at a trade-show called KW's Finest. Bed, 2 night-stands, and 2 huge dressers!
Here's a sneak peek...

I haven't come close to figuring out all the details, I just know I want something kinda earthy/bohemian. I've already got this amazing patchwork quilt that I got years ago in Guatemala, so I'd love to finaly incorporate it into my room.
I found these online and was instantly inspired:

I think the clean lines of the furniture will go nicely with the more free-spirited look I'd like to see throughout the room. We'll just have to wait and see!

I like.
I never considered dying my hair red until I saw this photo on Whitney Port's blog. SO many girls (who have been blonde previously) are going red. I just might consider it for some time down the road...

never thought of wearing my lace shorts like this...it's super cute! Kelli's blog is amazing, check it out here.

@therealzooeyd. follow her on twitter already!
(this is a photo of a poster I have hanging in my room. just love her.)
SO pumped for her new show "New Girl" this fall. Cannot. Wait.

pretty colour-fade top. see more of Frida's looks here.

I'd rather be thrifting.
Went on a major thrifting adventure tonight, and let's just say I'm extremely satisfied with my finds. So many cute tops to choose from! Also found the most adorable purse and a beautiful little box for holding treasures...even the most adorable Christmas sweater! I want thrifting to be my job, scratch that I'll do it for free!

Rainbow Hair
Lauren Conrad recently went rainbow.
She is quite possibly the last person on earth I'd ever guess would do something this wild, because her hair normally looks like this:
But let's just say I'm a huge fan.
THE best summer hair. Check it out:

LGFW...a little late.
God has been surprising me in so many cool ways as of late. I've been able to meet so many interesting people and experience such amazing things in the past few months, it's been really cool.
A friend of mine, Jacqueline Ninaber sent me a text back in March asking if I'd like to accompany her to LG Fashion Week. Um, YES!!!!! For those who may not be familiar with Fashion Week, it is: "a fashion industry event, lasting approximately one week, which allows fashion designers, brands or "houses" to display their latest collections in runway shows and buyers to take a look at the latest trends. Most importantly, it lets the industry know what's "in" and what's "out" for the season. The most prominent fashion weeks are held in the four fashion capitals of the world: New York City, London, Milan, and Paris." haha I hope you enjoyed that dictionary definition. I knew it would be no Paris or New York City, but hey, Toronto is the closest thing and I was beyond excited to be offered an opportunity like this! So on Friday April 1, we drove down to the Convention Centre and found our way into the gorgeous Heritage Court. Jacqueline informed me that the show would be OR by Angela Chen - showcasing her Collection for Spring/Summer 2011.

We wandered around a bit and explored. There was a little eating area with the neatest furniture and lamps and even checked out a fun Barbie & Ken booth. After that, I stared at this STUNNING Mercedes convertible for way too long. Next, it was finally time to line up and we were eventually ushered into a dark room where the show would take place. Lots and lots of people packed into a very long and narrow room. We snagged some seats and the show soon began. Lots of crochet combined with tule and other light/airy materials. A lot of pieces I would gladly add to my wardrobe...lots of greys, blacks, and purples.

And then it was over, only 25 minutes long! We left the dark room and I snapped a few more shots of the building, the booths, and some incredible style. Next stop, New York Fashion Week! :)

Natasha Bedingfield
My friends recently encouraged me to listen to Natasha Bedingfield's latest album, Strip Me. I've always liked her but never took the time to actually get one of her albums and listen to the whole thing. I am obsessed. I love every song and they're almost always stuck in my head! I love her husky and powerful voice- I swear she can hit any note in this universe!
But besides that, I think she has such a stunning look..I especially love her bleached choppy cut.
For an even better visualization of killer pipes combined with a brilliant sense of style watch this.
