Done like Dinner.
I am thrilled to report that I passed the final Capstone marketing plan and that I will be getting my Advertising Diploma on June 16th at 3pm. Wow, it does not feel real at all yet. So much work lead up to today and I can't even believe its over. Tomorrow is the Advertising gala to celebrate (even though some did not pass :( )
And then I'm off to Mexico on Saturday with my family for a week. So looking forward to it!
To celebrate my victories I went a little nuts:
- New shoes (will post pics later)
- New purse (diddo)
- Starbucks Passion Tea Lemonade & a delicious Tim's turkey bacon club no tomato tasted on whole wheat
- BP dinner tonight with Julia.
Oh freedom you are wonderful and smell soooo good. I'm not even gonna let the looming thoughts of finding a job ruin my mood. I'll deal with that later!
I am done school. FOREVER. wow.
I may never go back to Conestoga College. But you never know...

She & Him
I love love love this beautiful music.
Listen.
First off, Zooey Deschanel is a total stunner. One of my biggest girl crushes ever. She always plays these great quirky characters in her movies, and she can sing. SO WELL. I love the vibe of their tunes, and I especially love belting them out when I'm drivin' around. And second off (never used that expression before...) she writes all her songs too?!? Genius!
I bought Volume One a lil while ago and fell in love. So...once I had them all memorized I got Volume Two which just came out. The guy, Matt Ward sings a bit too...he also has an incredible voice. Just an all around great combo. Like fries and vanilla triple-thick milkshake from McD's.
Love her. Love them. Love their music.

(winter) love
"Spring goes by so slowly,
Summer cant come fast enough,
Fall can leave me lonely,
Just bring me back my winterlove. "
Taylor Swift tweeted about this song earlier today: Winterlove by parachute. Click here to listen.
To be honest, it's kinda nice to think that there's somebody out there who's waiting for me. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside :) I want someone to sing for me one day! Something along the lines of this would be nice, even though it sounds like he's singing it to the open air- to someone who's probably not even listening. It should be on purpose and for a reason. Not something somebody else made up, something from the heart. I don't care if it sounds real good, although that wouldn't hurt! ;)

'member in that other entry I talked about "the oversized parka" and how its supposed to be a big trend for spring/summer...?
Anyways, I found an amazing Billabong one at Boathouse (below) only in a khaki green colour that I just LOVE! It was on sale for $62 I think, so I might hold off, but it fit sooo well, and you can roll up the sleeves to for something even more summery!
check it out here!

These are for a housewarming, but they could really be for anything...so easy! as long as you have a working typewriter I guess...
Wow, I can tell already that this site is gonna come in handy. I feel like I'm stealing their ideas, but I'm not honestly, I just feel that they need to be shared!

More Hair...actually 50 more.
This article is THE best. It is a slideshow of 50 different things to do with your hair. I saved it along time ago, cuz I knew it'd come in handy, and it has!
Here's my Favourites:
Bed-Head! "There's nothing sexier than hair that looks like it's been disheveled by a roll in the sheets. Mimic the effect by scrunching large sections of damp hair in your hands as you move a blow-dryer in circles around your head (hold it about six inches away). This fluffs the hair rather than matting it down. Another trick: Rub your crown lightly, like it's a baby's belly, for a few seconds to create slept-in texture."
Turban! "When wearing a thick, turban-like headband, pull the sides down so they cover the tops of your ears."
High Ponytail! "To make a simple ponytail look more interesting, lightly tease the hair at the crown with a fine-tooth comb. Gently smooth over the teased area with your palm, and secure it in the center of the back of your head."
Here's the link for all 50!
